What Potluck is

Potluck gives you a page for your party: guests RSVP, sign up to bring a dish, and see the details. We host the page. We don't organise your event, and we're not a party to anything that happens at it.

Your account

You need an account to host, and you must be 13 or older. Keep your sign-in details to yourself — anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Guests don't need accounts.

Your content

Your event pages, photos and text stay yours. You give us permission to store and display them so the site can work — showing your page to the people you send the link to. You're responsible for having the right to post what you post, including photos of other people.

Event links

Links are first come, first served. We may reclaim a link that impersonates someone, infringes a trademark, or is being squatted on rather than used. Deleting an event releases its link for others.

Paying

Premium is $19/year and renews automatically until you cancel. A Pro event unlock is a one-off $5 and applies to one event. Payments run through Stripe; we never see your card number. Prices can change with notice, and a change never affects a period you've already paid for. Refunds are covered by the refund policy.

Money between hosts and guests

When a guest chips in, they pay the host directly through the host's own payment handle. Potluck never holds, transfers or takes a cut of that money, and disputes about it are between the two of you.

Fair use

Don't use Potluck for spam, harassment, illegal events, scraping other people's guest details, ticket scalping, or anything that attacks the service. Don't upload content you don't have the rights to. We can suspend accounts that do these things.

Availability

We work to keep the site up, but it's provided as-is without guarantees of uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you've paid us in the past twelve months. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose — hosts can export guest lists at any time.

Ending things

Delete your account whenever you like; your events come down with it. We may close an account that breaks these terms, and where it's fair we'll refund unused paid time. Questions go to support.
